Brent and Maya McCoy

Maya and Brent met in 1998 while working at Circus Smirkus Camp, where they began to walk parallel paths of circus and theater. Now married, they teach in schools throughout the country, tour their shows worldwide and head home to Northeastern Vermont whenever they get a chance. They founded YES! Theater in 2007.

Brent (a.k.a. Bread)

has toured his solo show internationally since 2007. Before that, he spent over 10 years teaching circus and theater with Circus Smirkus. He studied juggling and painting at Bates College and has since worked with Avner The Eccentric and Keith Johnstone at the Celebration Barn Theater.

Maya (a.k.a. Mayo)

has performed and taught throughout the country since 2003. She studied theater at The New School in NYC, with Bread and Puppet Theater, and at the Celebration Barn Theater. She actively practices yoga and is one heck of a gardener.
